Nice little board for embedded apps.

I bought one of these to use as a CPU/mainboard for a NAS build. It's small, cheap, is stable so far, and the CPU is way more powerful than the older Celeron 847s and E-350 boards in the same price bracket.

Installation is easy enough, and the quickstart sheet has all the information I needed about pinouts and so on.

The only cons are the lack of USB 3, and the use of single-channel DDR3, which may or may not be a problem depending on your intended use for the system.

One thing I'm a little surprised by are the very high CPU temps. (high 70s at idle and high 80s at load. That's in Celcius.) Other people with Celeron 1037Us are reporting idles in the 40s, and my Celeron 847 system (which lives in a plastic box with very little ventilation) idles in the 50s. I'll be resetting the HSF soon and replacing the thermal compound, I think. (For starters.)
