I must say it was a very tight decision between the Z77A-GD55 & Z77A-GD65, however in the End it was the price and features that won me over.

There is very little between both boards, if you want to OC your CPU to the maximum, then the board with more mosfet's is the GD65 and Over-Clocks better.

The both boards are very stable when it comes to over-clocking, however I must be honest and say that the GD65 has won competitions, for Over-Clocking in the USA.

On ICE...

The GD55 is no slotch either nevermind the Dr mosfet, as I read as much as I could before buying the GD55, I'm Still very happy with my Choice The GD55 & GD65 have great

BIOS's and they do get quite a mention on YouTube, go there for an unboxing to hear a review from people like me who has bought, you will see "I'm a VERIFIED BUYER".

Ignore Peeps who have no "Verified Purchase" beside their review.

both boards are some of the fastest around. the only difference is a couple of mosfet's. extra on the GD65, but hey that isnt a deal breaker because its 1 of the top 3 MSI

Motherboards, the price has come down by around £30 quid, (so you save £30) and (save £35) on the GD65.

I have used MSI motherboards for a while and *touch wood* they seem to be top level.

The Good:
Value for money
5.1 Surround.
Crossfire + SLI
1 Click Overclocking.
Good motherboard for overclocking.
Good feature set.

The Bad:
Only 6 USB's
Not great SATA support
High Heat Sync (if you plan to install a Push Pull with a 240mm Rad it you will have to move the mount as it wont fit in the roof)
